Birgit Hausmann

Biography

Birgit Hausmann is a physics student at the Technical University in Munich, Germany who is currently doing her diploma thesis with the Lončar Group. She will be experimenting with single photon sources based on NV color centers in diamond. She has previously worked in Dr. A. Fontcuberta i Morral's group at the Walter-Schottky-Institute, Munich

• LAOTSE (Links to Asia by Organising Traineeship and Student Exchange) to study at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and do an internship in Prof. Murray Barrett's Cold Atom Group at the Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore.
