 

#  High-Precision Fabrication of TFLN Frequency Mixers 

 





We have recently developed a scalable fabrication technique for thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) devices that dramatically improves wavelength accuracy in nonlinear frequency mixers.

By reversing the typical process -- performing poling after waveguide definition -- our team enabled precise metrology and correction of geometric errors. This approach led to 96% of devices hitting the target wavelength (737 nm) after post-processing. The method offers a promising path toward high-yield, high-precision photonic chips for quantum and classical applications.
