 Ph.D. in Physics, EPFL (2024)

B.A. in Physics, Tsinghua University (2018)

Guanhao studied trapped ion-based programmable Boson sampling during his undergraduate study with Prof. Kihwan Kim. In his PhD with Prof. Tobias J. Kippenberg, he worked on several projects including room-temperature quantum optomechanics using engineered mechanical oscillators, interfacing free electrons and photons using photonic integrated circuits, and dissipative dynamics in nanophotonic structures.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking and skiing, all the nature stuff.
