Kees has a BSc and MSc in Applied Physics at the University of Twente, the Netherlands. Currently he is pursuing his PhD there at the Laser Physics and Nonlinear Optics group. As a visiting scholar at Harvard, he works on hybrid laser in the lithium niobate platform. In his free time he enjoys cooking, running and the outdoors.
